- Survival Orientation - talk around people/relationships
- Identity tied to lover/fighter role for men
- Identity tied to rescuer/martyr role for women
- Importance of non-verbal/kinesthetic communications
- Ownership of people - people are possessions
- Negative orientation - failure results in belittling comments
- Belief in fate is major tenets of belief system
- Polarized thinking -- one way or the other
- Mating dance -- using body to sexually attract others
- Time -- lives in the moment -- future does not exist
- Lack of order and organization
